Maintenance & Upkeep Policy

This Maintenance & Upkeep Policy (“Policy”) outlines the customer responsibilities and maintenance requirements for all products sold by ThrillTek LLC (“ThrillTek,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”). By purchasing, assembling, or operating any product from ThrillTek, you agree to the terms and responsibilities stated below.
Customer Maintenance Responsibility
Upon delivery and installation, all routine maintenance and upkeep responsibilities transfer to the Customer. ThrillTek does not provide ongoing maintenance services unless separately contracted. Customers are solely responsible for keeping machines and components in safe, functional, and clean operating condition.
Failure to maintain equipment as outlined below may result in voided warranties and disqualification from replacement or repair claims. This includes routine cleaning, proper placement, regular inspections, and safe power usage.
General Maintenance Guidelines
- Perform routine dusting and cleaning of all exterior and interior machine surfaces
- Inspect for loose fasteners, worn parts, or sharp edges weekly
- Test claw function, joystick accuracy, and prize door operation biweekly
- Ensure all cords and wiring are secured and undamaged
- Clean and realign sensors and prize chute detectors
- Lubricate or clean moving parts per manual recommendations
- Clear prize chutes and bins of obstructions regularly
- Keep ventilation areas unblocked and free of dust or debris
Electrical & Power Standards
- Use grounded outlets rated for 110–120V (U.S. models)
- Avoid non-UL-listed power strips or daisy-chaining
- Do not overload power circuits
- Power down machines before cleaning or moving
- Incorrect voltage or circuits void warranty
Environmental Conditions
- Keep machines indoors in 40°F–85°F temperature range
- Avoid moisture, sunlight, excessive dust, open flame
- Use only on flat, level surfaces
- Do not place near food prep, industrial, or corrosive areas
- No storage in uncontrolled or outdoor environments
Scheduled Inspection Log (Recommended)
Customers are strongly encouraged to log:
- Date of last inspection
- Parts cleaned or replaced
- Visible damage noted/repaired
- Operator name and signature
- Environmental readings for variable storage
Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications
- No unauthorized rewiring, part swaps, or mods
- Only OEM parts allowed unless approved in writing
- Altering prizes, electronics, or branding voids warranty
- Third-party repairs are done at customer’s risk
Safety Responsibilities
- Operators must monitor for unsafe behavior
- Do not leave machines powered overnight in public
- Display clear warning labels and instructions
- Do not operate in unstable, abusive environments
- Report incidents or unsafe conditions within 48 hours
Warranty Impact
Improper maintenance or noncompliance may void warranty. ThrillTek may deny support if:
- The product shows unauthorized changes
- Environmental or storage abuse is evident
- No documentation is provided of maintenance efforts
Eligibility is subject to ThrillTek’s final review.
Preventive Maintenance Contracts (Optional)
Optional services available by contract include:
- Quarterly check-ups
- On-site servicing (regional availability may vary)
- Priority access to parts
- Discounted service fees
